Norse 3 Loudspeaker Cables
The best connection between your system and the music is one that disappears. Visually striking and technologically sophisticated, Norse 3 Loudspeaker Cables are engineered to make their presence felt in design, not in any imparted sound. They let the character, dynamics, and emotion of every recording emerge with exceptional control and musicality. From Nordost’s signature flat geometry to precision termination and ultrasonically welded connections, every element maintains the signal integrity from amplifier to loudspeaker.
Norse 3 combines silver-plated, solid-core OFC conductors with Micro Mono-Filament wrap, FEP insulation, and mechanically tuned lengths. These technologies preserve subtle information, delivering signal with enviable speed and excellent fidelity.
Purpose-built termination housings are designed to fit each cable’s geometry perfectly, giving the conductors consistent space as they meet the connector. Norse 3 Loudspeaker Cables are terminated using an exacting ultrasonic welding process. This solder-free technique creates consistent, high-integrity bonds while minimising unnecessary materials and mass. Additionally, ESD material in the termination housings and breakout blocks dissipates static charges and protects signal integrity.
The result is drive, scale, realism, and musical engagement, allowing the character of both the recording and the audio system to shine.
Tyr 3
Tyr 3’s gold-plated beryllium copper connectors are designed specifically for ultrasonic welding, which creates a strong, high-integrity bond without adding unnecessary material to the signal path. This provides a precise, mechanically stable connection for the consistency needed for a high-performing system. The termination is further enhanced by an ESD terminal housing, which dissipates static charges which accumulate on the cable before they can interfere with the signal, preserving signal integrity. Together with its thoughtfully engineered conductor arrangement and attention to construction, Tyr 3 preserves the dynamics and subtle distinctions within a performance. Positioned just below Nordost’s Reference range, Tyr 3 Loudspeaker Cables offer a highly refined approach for listeners seeking to get the most from their audio system.
