Heimdall 3 Loudspeaker Cables are designed to preserve the detail and character of a recording, allowing the performance to come through naturally. Their purpose-built connectors and ultrasonically welded terminations are a key part of this approach, creating a precise, solder-free connection between cable and connector.

In the cable, eighteen silver-plated, solid-core OFC conductors are combined with Nordost’s proprietary Micro Mono-Filament technology and FEP insulation to create an air dielectric around each conductor. Mechanically tuned lengths and Nordost’s signature flat geometry maintain consistent conductor spacing, control capacitance and inductance, eliminate timing errors, and support fast signal transmission.

Norse 3 combines silver-plated, solid-core OFC conductors with Micro Mono-Filament wrap, FEP insulation, and mechanically tuned lengths. These technologies preserve subtle information, delivering signal with enviable speed and excellent fidelity. 

Purpose-built termination housings are designed to fit each cable’s geometry perfectly, giving the conductors consistent space as they meet the connector. Norse 3 Loudspeaker Cables are terminated using an exacting ultrasonic welding process. This solder-free technique creates consistent, high-integrity bonds while minimizing unnecessary materials and mass. Additionally, ESD material in the termination housings and breakout blocks dissipates static charges and protects signal integrity. 

The result is drive, scale, realism, and musical engagement, allowing the character of both the recording and the audio system to shine.

Heimdall 3 Loudspeaker Cable proprietary gold-plated beryllium copper banana and spade connectors are designed specifically for ultrasonic welding, creating a consistent bond while minimizing unnecessary material at the termination, maintaining a clean connection between conductors and connector. This termination is made complete with the addition of ESD terminal housing, which dissipates static charges that build up on the cable before it can affect the signal, protecting signal integrity. The result is a cable engineered to preserve the integrity of the musical signal from amplifier to loudspeaker, allowing the recording to speak for itself.
